    1. I have purchased a card at the bank and I cannot register on the website after entering the pin and card serial number
    There are various reasons that could be responsible for this
  • Ensure that the card serial number is correct and contains digits only
  • Ensure that the value entered into the pin number field is the one that was scratched on the card and that it is entered correctly
  • Ensure that the card has been ACTIVATED and VALIDATED at the bank of purchase
    2. What if I forget my username or password?

    3. What if I misplace my scratch card?
  • Be sure to memorize or know your card serial number. Misplaced scratch cards CANNOT be replaced.
    4. What is CEMTP?
  • CEMTP is an acronym for Converged Examination Management Technology Platform. The Converged Examination Management Technology Platform (CEMTP) is a Federal Government of Nigeria initiative aimed at improving the delivery of examination services and providing prospective candidates affordable access to examinations.     5. Is UTME the same as CEMTP?
  • No. UTME is the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Exam. This is the new, single, all encompassing examination by JAMB
    6. Where can I purchase scratch cards from?
  • Scratch cards can be purchased from various banks nationwide. To locate the bank closest to you, simply click on the “Search Selling Point” link on the website.
    7. How much is the CEMTP card?
  • The current price for the CEMPT card is N850 only (examination fees and bank charges not included)
    8. Can I purchase scratch cards from Examination Offices?
  • No. Scratch cards are only purchased from participating banks with branches nationwide.
    9. Why do I need to register twice?  First for CEMPT and then for my exam?
  • You need to have a single profile that is accessible to all participating examination bodies and then perform examination body specific registration.
    10. I made a mistake while filling my name, how can I rectify the error?
  • If you made the mistake at the bank where you purchased your card, you will need to contact support, provide the necessary details and effect the change. You can start by sending an email to the support email - cemtpconsortium@swglobal.com
    11. Is it possible to modify my registration details after submitting the online form?
  • Yes it is possible to change some details but NOT all the details.
